D PACE FINISHED

John is I.V. free today. We had a very nice day...his Mom visited and brought Zamma Borscht...and Chicken Noodle soup. We walked over to Place Riel and went to the Husky store...went to A and W and had some fries. Jonathan, Melissa and Noah visited in the evening. His white counts are just a little low today so by tomorrow they will be down some more so we decided to get out a bit while we could. So far he is doing great. Pray that he doesn't get any infections and that he will be ready after this for the stem cell harvest.

Yesterday John and Brenda came and brought a box full of cards from extended family members. We were blown away with all the love and care that these cards expressed. Each one is very special to us and we will read them more than once. They are nice and if either one of us is feeling down all we need to do is to look at them and they bring you close to us. Thank you for the gifts that you sent as well. That is also a big help in covering the extra costs that the extended hospital stays bring. Those gifts have helped take some worry away form us and we can concentrate on just getting better. We don't know how to thank you all...it is hard to express how much that meant to us. I wish that I could have had a video camera there...when he looked at the cards he cried and said everyones names and I know he wished each one of you was there...hugs to you all.

That is so awesome to hear that you guys got to get out for a while. We are also happy to hear that so far he is feeling good. We will keep on praying for him and for all of you.
Is he able to be home for Thanksgiving?

It is great to hear that John is off the IV, and was able to have a day out of the hospital yesterday.

Always in our thoughts and prayers.
