Fever Is Back Up

I am glad that he is in the observation room. There are nurses in there all twenty four hours of the day and night. His fever came back up this afternoon. The Doctors from infectious disease came and saw him this afternoon. Dr. W. assured me that the fever did not mean that the antibiotics were not working. I was told not to worry. Anyway, I am glad that he is under the watchful eyes of the nurses in that room. I hope they do not move him until the fever is gone. I will sleep better knowing he is being watched. He is feeling the effects of the fever this evening.

I came home for supper tonight. Angela made him some corn chowder for supper and Jonathan came to watch the super bowl with him. I made some fried ham and oven roasted potatoes for his supper tomorrow. He hasn't been eating very well so I am going to try and come home and make some dinners for him.

We are praying for you guys. That must seem like such a pat answer to you guys by now but I hope you know that we really are here for you but being so far away, all we can do is pray. I wish I could make you guys some food or just come and sit and visit but we can't so we pray and we will continue to be here for you. I know this must be discouraging when you finally think you're done with the hospital stays and then this. We are praying against that too.
We love you guys.

We are praying too. John's post about never wanting to see the inside of a hospital again except as a visitor showed how happy he was to be home. This must be a little discouraging. We will pray for you. I will update everyone at school and you will be in our prayers.

He'll get out of this, stronger than before; you'll see! I know this must be frightening, but hang in there, the both of you! Hugs xxxx
