Room with a view

John is still on 6000 at RUH. We went down to 6100 to visit the nurses down there and to say we were looking forward to being back with them. John put it this way: "I would rather puke on your floor than anywhere else." They said "that was so special and also good luck with that as they have rooms closed do to staff shortages." Obtaining a bed there may be difficult let alone a room with a view of outside. Being able to see the sun does amazing things with your spirit and makes it way easier to maintain a positive mood. They are putting the pic line in as of now.
John just phoned as they were taking him away for that procedure.

Pray that his appetite would come back. He seems to eat only a little bit then feels stuffed like he just had a feast and couldn't eat another bite. I don't know if this is do to not being as active as at home or if he still has the remains of the flu. Pray that the Lord would heal the swelling in his legs. They took him off the water pills that he had just started taking because they were starting to mess up his kidneys. The swelling causes his blood pressure to run a bit high. Always one thing leads to one thing to another thing and then to another thing. Pray that we would be patient through this. I would like this to be over and John at home recuperating. It is hard to go through uncharted waters but need to remember the captain of our ship is at the helm.

Oh! I didn't realize that he wasn't in the same ward... I forgot it was 6100. I sure hope he gets a window room down there if he ends up moving. Maybe if they are shutting rooms, they'll shut they atrium ones.

I, too hope he gets a room with some sunshine. We are all still praying all the time and will continue to do so.
