Dad's doing great through his second chemo treatment so far. He's neutropenic, but he only has a very low grade fever, his kidneys are doing fab, and as far as he's let on to me, he isn't even hurting as badly as he was last time. So that's great news. He seems to be handling the chemo very well and when I talk to him on the phone he sounds like he is in good spirits.
I expect people that are actually there at the hospital may have more to add, but since they are there, they are busy keeping Dad company. I guess they don't have as much time as I do to update the blog so I did it. I thought some of you might be wondering how he's doing.
Sooo...
He's fab. (Well, as fab as he can be in the hospital.)

I'm glad to hear that your dad is doing well, despite the obvious. I think of you guys a lot.
Becky, I pray all the time that your Dad will not have too much pain. I also pray for you, that you will not feel too bad about not being able to be with him. Your family and my Mom are always on my mind and I have to tell you that sometimes I get really sad that I'm so far away. I love you guys so much and I wish I could be there.
Comment deleted was due to bad grammar by the author (me) I shall try again. To Margaret: We are so sad that you are so far away. Face book me your phone number and I will give you a call.
