2. Wills completed

3. Accommodation secured (we received word today that a one bedroom will be available for us when we get there)

hi Braun family -
I have met Becky through a friend's blog, and have been emailing back and forth with her....I just wanted to tell you that we (my husband and I) are praying for you all. My dad also has been diagnosed with MM since March of 2008 - so we know the highs and lows of this stupid cancer. I am so glad that you are getting more help than my dad is, and that there is such hope for John. We will pray for strength and peace for all of you - especially as you leave family. I will pray specifically that God will provide many "angels" for you as you are in Seattle. God will be with you, and God will be sufficient for all your needs.
Lamentations 3 has been a real encouragement to me the last couple of days - i've read it in many different versions, and the long and short of it is that no matter what - God's mercy is new every morning!
Blessings to you all from Manitoba =)

I am so glad that the arrangements are going as well as they are. This list maks me feel so unorganized with my life. We will continue to pray.

Martha, I will add you to my prayer list also.

aww, Thanks Margaret - we can use all the prayers offered up for us. hard to see a dad go through stuff like this.
It's neat to connect with others though, and meet new friends.

Things are really falling into place and God has been ironing out all the wrinkles. We will miss you both and will be in prayer for your safety, good health and that your desires that you expressed on Sunday in Church would be fulfilled. And that God would fill you with his joy to strengthen you.

Martha: I will be praying for you Dad and your family.

Thank you Martha for stopping by. Your kind wishes and prayers are appreciated. My heart goes out to you, your family and your dad. We will keep you in our heart and prayers. It is so true that Gods mercy is new every morning. We have been shown this day after day as He has been walking with us through all of this. It would be impossible for me to leave on this next part of of journey if I didn't think He was coming with us.

This whole post and comments just brought tears to my eyes as I realize once again how gracious and merciful our wonderful God is. Chris I can really sense a new kind of strength in you. You have been amazing through all of this and I know you most likely don't feel like it a lot of times but 'when we are weak, then HE is strong'. I can see this so clearly in your life and so I know that God is with you and John in all of this. When I thought of all of this whole ordeal I just got one word.. TRUST! Even when you can't see what is ahead of you. God knows. Hold onto His hand and He will surely lead you both through this.
Martha, I thank you for commenting. I will also pray for your family!.
Blessings to you all!

Good to see you at work for the luncheon on Oct. 31-08. Your looking well in spite of what your body may be telling you. Hearing you speak your faith is encouraging to us all and its effects is already evident.I just want to encourage you with Rom.4:17 which declares that God calls those things(not yet visible) as though they are (visible) God's word is the invisible force that when spoken (in faith), makes invisible things visible. I'll keep confessing God's word on the matter with you like 1 Pet. 2:24, and the manifestation will happen. Remember, faith is the constant and time is the variable.
